Royal Mail Delivery Purchased on Amazon - No Information

Amazon Seller Topics
I sold an Xbox one game on Amazon and the buyer says it hasn't been delivered.

Now I cannot get any information off Amazon for the delivery I bought off them.

I only bought first class postage £1.26 but there is no information regarding a reference number for the postage i purchased. I cannot reprint the postage label for the reference or barcode as there is no option to on Amazon Seller.

So now I cannot claim off the post office for losing my delivery.

I contacted Amazon and they told me to contact the Royal Mail but I have no proof because Amazon wont give me any!!

I'm totally stuck and Amazon are not helping my case at all.

Any ideas what to do would be gratefully accepted.

You can't get proof of postage from anywhere other than a Post Office. If you bought postage of Amazon and just used the label on a parcel which you then popped into a Post Box there is no proof of postage, and Royal Mail will not allow you to make a claim.

Thanks for your reply.

But I purchased the postage off Amazon, surely they could give me a reference number for the postage I paid for???? All postage paid for online will have a barcode and/or reference number.

Even if you could reprint the label it still wouldn't count as proof of postage for Royal Mail purposes, unfortunately. I can't see a way around this problem.

The Royal Mail have told me they could trace it if i had the barcode but Amazon are not being very helpful.

Thanks though for taking time to reply.
