Then Amazon need to leave a reasonable amount of time for the customer to report any problems, ie not received, faulty etc
Then that brings us up to the disbursement date which seems about right for timeframe
If you're a new seller, there is an initial 14-day holding period before funds will be released from your Seller Account.
Full details here;
Amazon will disburse funds into your bank account every 14 days - this is stated in the agreement you signed up to when selling on Amazon. You will get your money, you just need to budget for the fortnightly payments.
Disbursement dates on Amazon are different if you own an Individual or a Pro seller account.
If you are a Pro Seller : Amazon will disburse the money to your account every 14 days.
If you are an Individual Seller : all orders payments stay 14 days in reserve on your Payment page in your Seller Central Account. Also, and independently, you will receive your money every 7 days.
For example :
Say your last disbursement date was on the 11th of May. Your next settlement dates will be (every 7 days) on the 18th of May, 25th of May, 1st of June, etc.
You confirmed the shipment for an order on the 16th of May for an amount of £44 :
16/05 + 14 days (reserve) = 30/05 so £44 will be no longer in reserve on the 30/05 but will be disbursed to your bank account on the 01/06 (your next settlement date after the 30/05).
Hope this will help !
