New to Seller Central: Collateral and Email Messaging to Customers

Good afternoon,

We are new to this and have just begun to explore selling items on Amazon. We are beginning to sell via fulled by merchant. I was wondering a couple of things:

1.) If we are allowed to refer the customers who purchase our items (or go to our listing) to our website?

2.) We have our own boxes with our own branding that we use to ship to our customers. Is that possible to continue to use those boxes?

3.) We sent tracking emails once the customers order has shipped. Are we allowed to continue to do that? I am assuming that Amazon does that for us.

Again, I am so sorry if this is posted somewhere. I have spent some time looking through the forums and cannot figure out an easier way to search for these.

No, you may not refer customers to your website in any manner.

Yes, you may use your existing packaging

Amazon sends tracking emails you should not. Excessive messaging is a policy violation.

Check the seller help pages before you check the forums. And read the participation agreement. There are lots of differences from other venues.
