Why does Amazon ask me if I'll ship video games I sell on .ca to US buyers?

Amazon Seller Topics
It's my understanding, that Video games sold on .ca are for Canadians only, just as buyers in Canada cannot purchase games on .com. Yet Amazon asks me to check off a box, that would give me a $7.99 shipping credit to ship to the US. Anyone know why they even ask, when it would seem, to not be allowed?

I have always ticked the box, as I would be happy to ship to the States, but all of my orders in 10 years have only been to buyers in Canada. View the reply amcdc79 selected as correct
