How to print UPS Label with a thermal printer

Amazon Seller Topics
Hello!

I would like to print our UPS labels with a thermal printer instead of our laser printer as it is time consuming to tape down sheets of paper to the top of 30 boxes at a time.

I called UPS to find out about their printer and I'm not confident it will work outside the ups.com platform.

Amazon seller support recommended the Zebra GX430T but proceeded to advise me on how to label individual items (which isn't always necessary for me).

Does anyone have insight on what the best thermal printer set up might be? And how does it work when preparing a shipment with the thermal printer -- does the printer use 2 labels? do I need to change my settings?

For what it is worth, we have both a mac and PC.

Thank you!
Annalisa

Thank you for your feedback. I was hesitant to purchase the printer and have it be limited in capabilities for our store. Sounds like it'll do what I need it to do. Thanks again!
